Those in charge of the Tokyo Game Show announced today that the fair will take place almost exclusively digitally again this year. The event celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021 and will be a purely digital event for the second time in a row. Because of the pandemic, no fans will be allowed on the premises. Once Again, In-Person Tokyo Game Show Canceled And Event Will Be Online

As organizers announced in an official release, this year’s theme will be Sore de mo, bokura ni wa geemu ga aru (γγγ§γ、εγγ«γ―γ²γΌγ γγγ) or, “We’ll always have games.”
The online Tokyo Game Show will be held from September 30 to October 3.
The first Tokyo Game Show was held in 1996, and this year marks the event’s 25th anniversary.
