Crash Bandicoot 4 on PS5
Starting today, Friday 12 March 2021, the next-gen version of Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time is available with a free update for those who own a physical or digital copy of the game on old consoles. However, it seems that something has gone wrong and many PS5 users are unable to get the upgrade on the PlayStation Store.Hundreds of reports are in fact arriving on social media from PlayStation 4 owners who cannot in any way add the free update to your collection, since the game card returns an error and prevents the product redemption from being successful.
Here is the purchase error that appears when selecting the game next-gen version on Sony digital store:
"You cannot purchase this product for the following reasons:
You already own the following products that conflict with the product you are attempting to purchase : Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time - Tracker. "
There is currently no response from Sony to the many reports from users, who are sharing the error screen images on their profiles and are awaiting an official solution. In fact, it seems that there is no way to get around the problem, which persists even in the web version of the PS Store and on the official PlayStation app.
Waiting for a fix, which could arrive shortly, we remind you that on our pages you will find the review of the PS5 version of Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time.
