Through the recent Nintendo Direct, the Kyoto company talked about The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2. Unfortunately, the big N took advantage of the event only to say that it is not yet time to reveal new information. What's the release date? We do not know. When will we be able to see some gameplay? It is not known. What will be the name of this new game? This too is a mystery. Obviously Nintendo will have to unbutton itself when the release is near: according to a new leak, however, it will not happen soon.The release date of The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is not in fact set for the 2021 according to information leaked online. Fortunately, the wait won't be overly long: it seems that Link and Zelda's game will be available in 2022. More precisely, according to the leakers, the release date will be simultaneous with the release of Nintendo Switch Pro, the console at the center of continuous rumors.
Obviously, as always, this is a leak and not official information. Even everything we "know" about the alleged Nintendo Switch Pro is just a set of speculations, so everything around The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 is a big question mark. The leak does not even tell us if the release of the console and the game is expected in the spring or autumn.

Nintendo finally talked about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 during the recent Nintendo Direct. However, rather than reveal our first look at gameplay or announce a release date, Nintendo showed nothing and asked Zelda fans for more patience. When is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 release date? We don't know. When are we going to see more of the game? We don't know. Is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 its actual title? We don't know. We know next to nothing about the Switch and Switch Lite game, and according to one new rumor, this may be because unlike what many think and what other rumors have suggested, the game isn't releasing this year.
According to the rumor, which comes the way of an anonymous source, but one that is considered reputable by some, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 won't be releasing in 2021, which would explain why Nintendo continues to be very silent about it. That said, according to the rumor, Zelda fans won't need to wait until 2023 or 2024 or anything too crazy, as the game is scheduled to release in 2022 alongside the rumored Nintendo Switch Pro.
Unfortunately, this is all the rumor divulges. Not only are there zero additional details on the game, but there's zero mention of when in 2022 it's releasing. In other words, it could be in March or it could be in December. And of course, it may not be releasing in 2022 at all because this rumor may be bogus or things may change, which happens often in game development, especially when it comes to Zelda. After all, the first game was delayed several times over the course of its troubled development.
