When does eFootball PES 2022 come out? Hypothesis on the date of the new Konami football game

The release date of the new eFootball PES has not yet been announced and is a source of much speculation. We already know some details about the upcoming Konami football game and we can speculate on the period in which it will be released.

The past year saw a momentary halt in the PES series, since Konami has only released a seasonal update called the eFootball 2021 Season Update. A sort of sabbatical, then, for FIFA's most famous rival, which many were quick to criticize wondering why the annual tradition was not respected.

It hasn't been long since Konami herself wanted to anticipate something to the most avid and curious fans, releasing a teaser trailer of eFootball PES 2022. As you can see in the video, one of the main novelties and, probably, the reasons that justify the delay of the publication, is the change of the graphic engine from the Fox Engine to the Unreal Engine to make the most of the potential of the next-gen consoles. br>
Unfortunately, official information on the release date has not yet been released, and in the short trailer there are no references to it. However, considering the release period of previous PES editions it is quite likely that Konami will wait until the end of the summer season before releasing a playable demo and shortly after the full game. It is reasonable to believe that eFootball PES 2022 will therefore be released between the first and second week of September, as per tradition, even if obviously these are simply hypotheses to be taken with due precautions.
