Silent Hill
In the new video packaged by Keiichiro Toyama, Silent Hill's dad illustrates the creative vision he is pursuing to make his next horror movie after leaving Sony and founding Bokeh Game Studio. As Creative Director of the studio Bokeh Game, Toyama refers to his past experiences to explain how "for my works I always choose to take more creative directions. The game I'm playing now, for example, is really dark and far from my more recent works, it's almost a I return to my roots which have always been tied to horror experiences. However, rather than being deeply rooted in fear and horror, the project will have this 'entertainment note' that will make users always feel elated when they play it " .
The volcanic Japanese developer continues in his speech and, confirming that he is working on a horror game, explains that "the vision I have of horror is she of an experience that must shake up everyday life. My horror games don't have to show scary things but convey this feeling of uneasiness that pushes users to always question themselves, make them understand that we are not living in a peaceful world. I like to carry on these kinds of concepts in my games, and this is exactly what I'm trying to do with my next title ".
In addition to the video diary that stands at the top of the news, you can also find below some splendid (and disturbing) preparatory sketches shown by Toyama to open a window on the dark dimension of his next horror game.
