Publisher Square Enix is set to announce a new part of Life is Strange soon. At least that's what the insider Navtra claims in the ResetERA forum. According to him, Square Enix plans to present several projects in the next few weeks. The kick-off is the new expansion for Final Fantasy 14, which will be presented on February 5, 2021 as part of an event. A little later the development of Life is Strange 3 should be confirmed.

The insider recently correctly predicted the PlayStation exclusivity of Final Fantasy 16, among other things. If the next adventure is actually about Life is Strange 3, the story should also offer new characters and locations. However, the insider did not have any details on a possible release of the third part.
In addition, Dontnod Entertainment will probably no longer be responsible for the game. According to insider Emily Rogers, the makers of the two predecessors and Square Enix have allegedly been going their separate ways for a long time. The development of Life is Strange 3 should therefore be carried out by the Deck Nine team. It wouldn't be the first time the studio has come into contact with the series. Deck Nine was responsible for Life is Strange: Before the Storm back in 2017. The prequel told the story of the events that took place three years before Part 1.
