Hitman 3
Hitman 3 serves as the complete package of the Hitman trilogy. Owners of the first two parts can easily import their missions into Hitman 3. At least on the console. The PC version had the problem that Hitman 3 is an exclusive title for the Epic Games Store, but Hitman 2 only appeared on Steam. PC gamers were therefore unable to use Hitman 3's import function. While IO Interactive was looking for a solution, they offered the access passes for Hitman 3, with which you can unlock the missions of the predecessor, at a reduced price. The community was understandably not too happy with this.Recommended editorial content Here you can find external content from [PLATTFORM]. Now IO Interactive announced on Twitter that the import function is now also available for PC gamers. To import the missions, players only need to complete a three-step process on a dedicated website. You will then receive the access pass for the respective game. IO also recommends using a PC browser as the page is not optimized for mobile browsers.
Hitman 3 Now Lets PC Players Import Hitman 1 And 2 Levels From Steam
Delivering on a promise made before launch, Hitman 3 developer IO Interactive now has a way for you to bring over your Hitman 1 and 2 purchases to the Epic Games Store.
Like Hitman 2 before it, Hitman 3 lets you import all the stages from the older instalments for play in its upgraded engine. Hitman 3 launched exclusively on Epic's storefront on PC, however, with access to Hitman 1's levels free for the first ten days of sale. If you had invested into the World of Assassination trilogy on other platforms, however, you were out of luck, with both IO and Epic Games saying a solution was being worked on to ensure players wouldn't have to purchase the games again.
A new website will now let you connect platforms like Steam to your IOI Account, which can then be linked to your Epic Games Store account to make the transfer. IO says that once you've connected any platforms with valid purchases of Hitman 1 or 2, you'll be able to redeem Access Passes for free. This will unlock the respective stages in Hitman 3, with IO warning that this process cannot be undone or reversed.
All the instructions are available on IO Interactive's website, with the developer advising players to initiate the process on a PC instead of mobile for the smoothest experience. This will let you enjoy all your purchases Hitman content under one executable on PC, letting you free up any existing installations you might be holding on to.
Hitman 3 is a fantastic conclusion to the reboot trilogy that IO started in 2016. The studio is now working on a new James Bond game, while also hinting that Hitman might not being done yet.
