After having previewed it during the FIGURAMA FESTIVAL EVENT IN AKIHABARA, the time has finally come for the opening of the pre-orders of this beautiful one dedicated to Claymore and the clash of Teresa vs Priscilla coming out of Figurama Collectors for its Elite Exclusive line. The immense diorama of the clash between the two warriors will be made of resin, PVC and metal. The scale of realization is 1/6 and the height of the whole statue will be 72 cm.Claymore is a manga written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi that was serialized in tankobon from 2002 to 2014. In Italy the manga was published by Star Comics from 2005 to 2015 with a total of 27 volumes. Claymore got a short animated adaptation from the Madhouse animation studio. The animated series is a rather faithful transposition of the manga, however, although it adapts the first 11 tankobons in the first 20 episodes, the remaining 6 create a completely different ending than the paper counterpart, completely ignoring what happens in the manga. The story deals with the adventures of warriors called Claymore who are part of an organization with the aim of fighting demons called Yoma. The Claymore, to fight against these demons, were subjected to a treatment that involves the insertion of flesh and blood of Yoma into the body of the young fighters, giving rise to powerful hybrids capable of defeating the enemy. Priscilla was a Claymore, second in rank among the ranks of fighters who one day loses her mind and lets the Yoma within her awaken. Teresa, the strongest of the Claymore, finds herself fighting her ex-partner but losing her life (and her head) after an epic battle.
We remind you that the statue of Figurama Collectors by Teresa vs. Priscilla, in 1/6 scale and only 800 pieces in the world, is finally available on the official website of the manufacturer at a price of $ 1,225.00. Figurama Collection Announces 1st Figurama Festival Event in Akihabara, Japan
Tokyo, Japan – February 4, 2020 – Figurama Collectors proudly presents the world's first FIGURAMA FESTIVAL! This 2-day anime and manga figurine showcase celebrates all things Figurama, including:• Multiple Statue Reveals• License Announcements• Giveaways• And many more surprises!
FIGURAMA FESTIVAL takes place on February 20th – 21st (Saturday and Sunday) from 12:00 to 20:00 JST at the AKIHABARA CONTAINER, located at: 神田佐久間町1−13 Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan 101-0025.
Residents of Japan are encouraged to participate in the event in person, as the Figurama Collectors staff will be on-site, and many new statues will be revealed simultaneously. There are also exclusive giveaways planned for those able to make the trip.
FIGURAMA FESTIVAL can also be followed virtually through the Figurama Collectors Hub, which will feature live updates, photos, and video throughout the weekend.
