Hitman 3 is now a few days after its debut, but it seems that players intending to buy the title on PC have already suffered the first negative blow.
Although IO Interactive had confirmed in the past the possibility of transferring the levels of Hitman 1 and 2 from Steam to Epic Store (which has secured the exclusivity, probably temporal, of the title on PC), it seems that this will not be the case. In the purchase guide of the title on the Danish developer's website, in fact, some packages that can be purchased are mentioned, to be purchased necessarily in case you want to access the contents of the old episodes. This could be bitter news for those who have taken on the role of Agent 47 on Steam and were hoping to replay old maps on Hitman 3 from the Epic Store.
Those who pre-ordered the game or who purchase it within the first 10 days of launch, however, will get Hitman 1 levels for free. However, there seems to be nothing to be done regarding the second chapter (the package of which will however be sold at a discounted price soon after the debut of Hitman 3).
The packages include all previous levels and published DLCs until today, while progression saves will be transferable from one platform to another simply by logging in through your IO account within the game.
Hitman 3 will arrive on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and even Nintendo Switch on January 20th. The new trailer released by IO Interactive has delved into the dark themes of the plot.
