AMD has released a new graphics driver to support Square Enix's latest triple-A title, Hitman 3. Adrenaline Driver 21.1.1, according to AMD, can offer up to 10% more performance in the 4K resolution title at Ultra settings on a Radeon RX 6800 XT, compared to the previous 20.12.1 driver. The 21.1.1 driver also introduces support for Quake II RTX and integrates several bug fixes.
Among the latter we find bugfixes for recording / streaming and for the correct display of information in the OSD regarding performance. In addition, some fixes have been implemented for titles such as Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Doom Eternal. Other bugfixes pertain to the Odyssey G9 series of monitors, which had display issues or black screens when paired with AMD graphics cards. Finally, the blocking problems with Oculus Link in combination with Polaris or Vega GPUs have also been solved. However, several bugs still remain without a solution, including flickering brightness with Freesync and playing a game in borderless window mode, as well as display flickering with Vega graphics cards connected to two monitors, when one of them is set. on a high refresh rate.
There is also a problem with Metro Exodus, which can still be the victim of crashes with DXR Ray Tracing enabled. Radeon's recording / streaming features may not work on HD 7800 series products, and finally, Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen on some systems, but you can disable this feature to work around this.
