
The data shows that the use of Windows 10 20H2, the latest version of Microsoft's operating system, is grew to 13.6%, a marked increase from 8.8% in November. The user base of the 2004 version, launched last May, has also grown to 40.4% (last month it was 37.6%).
By November, the 1909 version had grown to 36.4% and was the same as in 2004, but in December it dropped to 33.2%. Meanwhile, the 1903 version has dropped further (from 10.2% to 7.1%), a situation that actually applies to almost all previous versions as well. Version 1809 is now 1.5% instead of 2%, 1803 is 1.7% versus 2.2%, and those running version 1709 or earlier now represent only 2.2% of users, compared to 2.4%. The share of use by Insiders is still 0.3%.
