At least that's what Insider and GamesBeat editor Jeff Grubb claims. In the context of a new episode of "GamesBeat Decides" Grubb stated that he knew very well that Microsoft had something up his sleeve for The Game Awards. Logically, this concerns the Xbox division. The insider could not or did not want to give more precise details, so there is a lot of freedom for speculation. Microsoft had already used the TGA shows several times for larger announcements in the past few years. For example, last year the manufacturer announced the name and release period for the Xbox Series X. Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 was also revealed as part of The Game Awards.
Fitting: These are the nominations for The Game Awards 2020
It would be conceivable that there would be new information about the ego -Shooter Halo: Infinite could give - possibly even the specific release date. The announcement could of course also be a completely different game. By the end of this week at the latest, we should all be a little smarter. The Game Awards 2020 will take place on the night of December 10th to 11th.
