Despite the success of the 'event, however, there were some announcements and trailers that fans expected to see, such as remakes of Metal Gear Solid or Silent Hill, or news about the new titles already announced but on which silence reigns at the moment as Resident Evil Village or Zelda Breath of the Wild 2. The reason may be that some companies, such as Sony, are reserving these announcements for their own events at a later date, perhaps at an upcoming Nintendo Direct or PlayStation State of Play, whose assumption is that it will take place within the first two months of the new year.
Damn… when the heck are we going to get our next RE Village update? Capcom must be doing their own thing for it, because there is nothing notable coming up that I can think of where they would showcase it. Bummed out.

This time around, the insider suggests that Sony has a new State of Play in mind for January or February 2021, where Sony will showcase upcoming PlayStation titles.
