Just a few weeks ago Qualcomm had anticipated that Motorola was slated to produce a device with the latest powerful SoC and then, in the last few hours, another clue directly from the winged company. In fact, through a post on Weibo, an executive uploaded a photo of a box that could contain the new top-of-the-range smartphone.
Currently on the market there are Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge Plus, the first with Snapdragon 765 and the second with Snapdragon 865. We deduce that the new smartphone from Lenovo cannot be the successor of the latter as it is on the market for too little time to think of a new generation.
It could instead be related to what just recently leaked as an indiscretion, that is a smartphone with the code name Nio: a top of the range in the pipeline equipped with the latest Qualcomm SoC: the Snapdragon 888. The previous previews were very interesting and depicted a device with a 6.7-inch 120 Hz display with a triple camera, of which the main 108 MP sensor.
Obviously side Android 11 software and Motorola's near-stock interface that is likely to add useful software. Xiaomi is instead ready to present its new top of the range. We talked about Xiaomi Mi 11 but it is likely tomorrow there will also be Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro.
