The well-known Taiwanese manufacturer Gigabyte presented its new series of Aorus Master graphics cards along with the more mainstream Gaming OC line.
Obviously, the flagship model is the Aorus Master RX 6800 XT, which comes equipped with a huge triple slot, triple fan cooling system packed with RGB LEDs. There is, of course, a metal backplate, while the most interesting detail is the presence of a small LCD screen on the side of the GPU for viewing GIFs, customized images, texts or temperature monitoring.
The Radeon RX 6800 Aorus Master is also built with the same design philosophy, as both cards feature elaborate VRM circuitry powered by a pair of eight-pin PCI-Express connectors. Normally, both devices have three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and one HDMI 2.1, but the RX 6800XT Aorus Master is also available in a variant that replaces a DisplayPort with a USB-C.

If the extravagant designs of the Aorus Master line do not appeal to you, or you simply want to save a few euros, Gigabyte also offers the Gaming OC line. In this case, most of the RGB LEDs are eliminated, illuminating only the Gigabyte logo and a line below on the side of the card. However, we find other rather interesting features, such as a generous triple fan heatsink and dual BIOS, so they should still offer a good improvement over the references without increasing the price too much.
The maximum clock speed of the RX 6800 Gaming OC is indicated as 2.155MHz (the reference value is 2.105MHz), with typical Game Clock at 1.925MHz compared to the reference 1.815MHz. The RX 6800 XT Gaming OC model exceeds these figures, reaching up to 2.285MHz in boost (2250 MHz reference), while the Game Clock reaches up to 2.045 MHz (2.015 MHz reference).
