Fortunately, the weapon in question is not a random drop and can be obtained by any player who has purchased the Beyond the Light expansion (this also applies to subscribers to Xbox Game Pass on console, where the game is already available) and completed the main quest. At the end of the DLC campaign, in fact, you will be asked to speak with the Unknown Exo at the camp south of the patrol area on Europa: interacting with the character will not only provide you with important details regarding the plot of the game , but you will also be given the Exotic weapon complete with a Quest to unlock its Catalyst.
The exotic enterprise is not very complex and only requires a little patience. The first step is to collect five different Schematic Code Snippets, which can be found by visiting the area called Exoscienza Bray (west of the Cadmus Headland) and eliminating the enemies inside. Once this step has been completed, it is necessary to go back to talking to The Unknown Exo to receive another phase of the mission: eliminate 60 Vex in the areas of Europe called Nexus, the Well of Infinity or the Glass Bridge. The kills, to be done strictly with the exotic rifle, can also be carried out in the first area of the Assault "The Glass Bridge", so as to avoid unnecessary trips in search of the right area. Talk to the Unknown Exo again to receive the last step of the exotic quest, which is to accumulate kills with the weapon until the bar is charged (it must reach 100%). Upon reaching the maximum bar value, the Catalyst can be applied to the Pulse Rifle and will allow you to create Orbs of Power with precision kills or multi-kills.
