Marcin Momot, Global Community Lead of the Polish development company, took care of the situation. Responding to a fan on Twitter, he specified that Cyberpunk 2077 will not support Ray-Tracing on new AMD GPUs at launch, but there's no need to despair: support will be added as soon as possible. Buyers of the new AMD Radeon 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT graphics cards, therefore, will only have to be patient before they can enable Ray-Tracing on their gaming machines.
Cyberpunk 2077, remember, will launch on December 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. From the first day it will be backwards compatible on PS5 and Xbox Series X pending the free upgrade that will be made available in the course of 2021. To entice the purchase of the Stadia version, Google is giving away Stadia Premiere Edition (package with controller and Chromecast Ultra) to all those who pre-order the game on their cloud gaming platform.
