COD Cold War: how to uninstall campaign, multiplayer and zombies to save space

COD Cold War

The rather generous dimensions of the new chapter of the Call of Duty series, which reach about 100 GB in the next gen version of the product, could put many players in difficulty, also considering the not very large storage spaces of the new Microsoft and Sony consoles. br>
To try to find a solution to this problem, the guys from Treyarch and Activision have decided to introduce an option that will allow you to uninstall some assets and modes present within the game at will, a possibility currently available only on Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. In particular, you can choose whether to keep in memory or uninstall:

Campaign mode Online multiplayer mode Zombie mode Dead Ops Arcade mode (a sort of mini-game with a top view) High definition assets ( useful option especially if you do not have a 4k panel and therefore could not take advantage of the benefits of very high resolution textures) the assets related to ray tracing In order to access the screen that will then allow you to select what to uninstall and what to keep saved in memory, do not you will have to do is access the main menu of the game (the same that allows you to choose the way you want to try your hand once the title is started) and press the R3 button, on Playstation, or RS, on Xbox. In particular, it is interesting to note how uninstalling the campaign mode should remove 60 GB of space used by the game, thus bringing it back to a decidedly leaner and more acceptable size.
