COD Black Ops Cold War: First big patch, the FFAR1 has been nerfed
A little over a week after launch, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has received the first major balance patch that affects different aspects of gameplay, from weapons to scorestreaks.

To begin with, the shotgun d FFAR1 assault has undergone a major debuff: reload time has been increased, bullet damage has been decreased by 3.5% (from 28 to 27) and range has been reduced (maximum damage now occurs at 25 meters , no longer at 38 meters, after which the values decay). This major intervention should be enough to downsize a weapon that had ended up at the top of the preferences of much of the game community. Treyarch also balanced sniper rifles by increasing the time between running and firing a shot (from 400ms to 450ms) and by reducing the speed of movement while firing (7.59mph to 5.13mph) .

An important balance has also been reserved for the Scorestreak. Basically, almost every Scorestreak in the game has been modified in some way, some with an increase in the costs to use them, others with a decrease in the same. For example, the Care Package saw its cost rise from 1,800 to 2,000, while Air Patrol dropped from 3,200 to 2,700. Also increases for attacks on Napalm (from 2,100 to 2,500), Artillery (from 2,500 to 3,000) and Missile Cruise (from 2,600 to 3,500): the latter has seen the cost increase by 900 units!

What do you think of these interventions? More details on the first patch of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War can be found on the official website of Treyarch. We take this opportunity to inform you that the Nuketown '84 map will soon arrive in COD Black Ops Cold War.
