Acer BL270 is a 27 ″ monitor equipped with an IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels whose viewing angles are almost absolute (178 ° both vertically and horizontally). Its simple design in 16: 9 format, minimal, with squared corners is able to adapt to any type of home or office desk. The reduced edges on three of the four sides of the panel make Acer's monitor suitable for use in locations with dual or triple displays.
The anti-glare finish allows you not to be distracted by natural or artificial lighting. The panel sadly does not support any HDR standards and reaches a maximum brightness of only 250 nits.
Acer BL270 supports VESA's Adaptive-Sync tearing reduction technology via the DisplayPort 1.2a port. In addition to this video input there are also an HDMI port and a VGA on the back. Visual well-being is aided by a reduction in panel flicker, the ability to reduce brightness to 15% in dark scenes for less eye strain and the presence of Acer's BlueLightShield Pro blue light filter.
The stand allows rotation adjustment on all axes, facilitating positioning according to your needs, as well as height in a range of 120mm.
The OSD (On-Screen Display) software has been designed for a easy navigation with the 5-way joystick positioned on the back of the display. It is compatible with the Acer Smart Console App, which allows you to easily view the contents of your smartphone in mirroring.
The display arrived at the same time as Acer ConceptD 300 and, as for the latter, we didn't have enough time with the sample to write a full review.
In any case, the Acer display made an excellent impression on us and we are sure it will be able to please those looking for a monitor with excellent workmanship without necessarily having to exaggerate with products dedicated to graphics or extreme gaming.
Acer BL270 will be available in Italy from January 2021 with a starting price of 239.00 euros.
